Chaos and tragedy ensued in Melbourne, Florida, after a car crashed through a fireworks shop near a major highway, killing one amid a flurry of massive explosions.
Late Monday afternoon, an SUV collided with a Toyota Tacoma, sending both vehicles flying into the Phantom Fireworks parking lot on West New Haven Avenue off I-95.
Officials say the SUV continued on and eventually crashed into the fireworks shop, which then burst into flames, killing the unidentified West Melbourne driver at the scene.
Videos of witnesses seeing the explosions flooded social media on Monday and Tuesday.

Troopers reported that the driver of the Tacoma was unharmed. Two employees who were in the store at the time of the accident were able to get out in time and are reportedly unharmed.
The condition of the driver during the accident is not yet known.
