Jarrod Schulz came from a checkered background to relative stardom when he first appeared on the A&E Network’s show “Storage Wars” in 2010 alongside his partner Brandi Passante. The show dubbed him “The Young Gun” and saw him grow from a small businessman to one of the show’s greats. Jarrod may not always have been the sincere and honest businessman we know today, and his profession is not strictly legal as he earned his name as a risk taker and relies heavily on key members of his family to keep him focused, on track. keep, and cool.

He doesn’t share much about his family and his origins, but we know that he maintains some semblance of relationship with his mother and aunts. As a child, Schulz was naturally curious and could spend hours taking apart toy cars. As he grew older, his curiosity expanded into more advanced ideas, particularly growing into a fascination with safes – Jarrod can seemingly open any safe with gusto, and anyone who’s seen the show can tell you how ecstatic he gets when he finds a safe deposited in a storage room. The link between his search for storage and safes is obvious, as he claims that storage lockers just seem to be a giant, mysterious form of the conventional safe.

Career
Touch and go
In 1977, Jarrod Schulz served sixteen months in prison for narcotics trafficking and picking up a DUI. The experience served as a real wake-up call for Schulz, and when he resurfaced in the real world, he decided it was time to get legit. Schulz got a job as a sales manager in Tustin, California, where he worked for a carpet cleaning company.
Here he first met his future business partner and girlfriend, Brandi Passante. Brandi and Jarrod started a mortgage company that collapsed almost immediately after it was founded, and Schulz remained unemployed for a while.
Things Look up
In 2002, Jarrod and a friend launched a clothing brand, Outlaw clothing. The goal, functioning primarily online, was to create clothing that allowed for self-expression and created an edgy feel. While the clothing line started as a resource among friends, it picked up steam when Schulz rose to fame with the premiere of “Storage Wars.” Jarrod’s experiments in the auction industry began at the suggestion of a family member; it started as a small business, buying at auctions and selling at swap meets, but eventually the money justified his work and Brandi opened a thrift store called Now and Then.
The store’s shelves are regularly stocked with household items, power tools, furniture, and occasionally antiques.
Reality TV
By 2010, the store had gained enough momentum to catch the attention of the directors behind “Storage Wars,” and he and Brandi were rewarded with a place on the show. The show illustrates the lifestyle of the modern day storage hunter as they try their luck buying storage lockers, auctioned off because they are three months behind on rent. It’s much harder than it sounds – the buyers have to purchase the whole unit and all of its contents with no more than a cursory look at the interior. While many of the show’s stars can be cutthroat and mean, Jarrod showed a more compassionate side, occasionally helping out new buyers and doling out advice, while remembering the hell the others had given him when he was new to the industry.
The pair made some great finds on the show, including Marvel stashes and “Star Wars” memorabilia. The two left the show in 2018, but not before starring in their own reality show.Brandi & Jarrod: Married to the jobin 2014. The show was short-lived, never progressing past its first season.

Jarrod currently works at Rush Bar and Grill in California, a restaurant he co-owns. Here he met his new girlfriend and started a new life away from the screen and his ex-girlfriend Brandi Passante.
Private life

Jarrod met his longtime girlfriend Brandi Passante while working as a sales manager at the carpet cleaning company.
Since he was technically Brandi’s boss, it’s highly questionable if he pursues her romantically. Neither of the two will clarify who approached the other first, all we know is that they were in an apparently happy relationship until 2018.
Family
Jarrod and Brandi have two children together: Cameron Schulz, born in 2003, and Payton Schulz, born in 2005. They remained a close-knit family for many years before Jarrod and Brandi eventually separated. Their relationship was never easy, especially considering the hours they would spend together on the show, and as in many cases, the financial element of the relationship put a lot of strain on them.

Although the two were an extremely popular couple on the show, they never married, despite teasing an impending wedding on their spin-off reality show “Brandi & Jarrod: Married to the Job”. Jarrod and Brandi may recognize the source of their anxiety and strongly encourage their children to pursue paths in life other than their own.
After Passant
After years of having the level-headed and down-to-earth Brandi Passante by his side, Jarrod Schulz’s life has taken quite a turn. While he has found a new love with Rochel Beckmana bartender at the Rush Bar and Grill which he co-owns, there are other less positive aspects to his life.
Rochel Beckman has let the public know that she is deeply in love with Schulz by posting, “It’s crazy how much happier life can be when you are valued and cared for as a person should be.” Schulz’s less sane demeanor in the media comes after he was charged with resisting an officer on July 12. The police cannot release more information because it remains an open case.
Appearance
Jarrod has remained fairly recognizable over the years, sporting a trademark beard and a head in an almost constant state of baldness. He is 1.88 m tall and although his weight fluctuates widely, he currently weighs about 66 kg.
His hair is dark brown, a trait he passed on to both of his children, and he appears to have some Hispanic influence in his ancestry. Recently, Schultz seems to have grown a full head of hair and beard.

Schulz has invested in several ventures, including the restaurant he co-owns and his clothing line. Outlaw clothing brings in about $700,000 a year, a nice addition to his sizable salary from “Storage Wars”. Jarrod Schulz has gone from struggling to make ends meet to a net worth of over $2 million, a huge improvement from his previous lifestyle. Jarrod is known to have said that “Storage Wars” was instrumental in reinventing his lifestyle and improving his standard of living.
