Hellbound, the acclaimed Korean drama, has been revived for a second season. TUDUM, Netflix’s worldwide fan event, hit the headlines on September 24. Hellbound is based on the webcomic of the same name, which depicts a world in which humanity must deal with the messengers of hell (dubbed “angels of death” on the program), who deliver unexpected and prophetic decrees that send individuals to hell.
The show’s first season is considered one of the most promising K-dramas to debut on Netflix in 2021. Hellbound’s first season ended strong. Song So-hyun (Won Jin-a) and her husband Bae Young-jae (Park Jung-min) offer their lives to save their child from the angel of death when Song So-hyun receives a judgment from the angel to her child. After their deaths, the Kim Hyun character is Joo’s Min Hae-jin who inherits the baby, making her one of the stars of the show for the future season.
