The first episode of the fourth season of CBS’s Bob Hearts Abishola will air on September 19, 2022 at 8:30 p.m. EST. The comedy centers on the love story of Robert “Bob” Wheeler (Billy Gardell) and Abishola (Folake Olowofoyeku), a Nigerian-born nurse. The sitcom’s previous season aired in 2021. It’s slated to return to the network after a nearly year-and-a-half hiatus to continue the MaxDot owner’s interesting story.
The upcoming debut episode of Bob Hearts Abishola’s new season will witness some significant changes in Bob’s life. This season kicks off with Bob’s resignation from his 30-year tenure. After his designated successor, Goodwin, is poached by his sister, Christina (Maribeth Monroe), Bob (Bayo Akinfemi) makes this dramatic choice.

Bob Hearts Abishola Season 4 Episode 1 Plot: Bob is stuck in a rut.
Another incident occurs in Bob’s life in the opening episode of the new season of Bob Hearts Abishola, further complicating matters for him. While his previous mistakes had caused Bob to rethink, this latest discovery would put him in a completely bad situation. Bob is fooled when he discovers that Goodwin has left Maxdot for a better position at Christina’s company, the story says. This will lead to an unusual turn of events. According to reports, this will lead to Maxdot’s CEO resigning from his 30-year career, much to the surprise of many around him.
This answers many long-standing doubts about Bob’s character, which were mostly influenced by the job he had for so long. CBS offered the following recap for the opening episode of Bob Hearts Abishola:
“Abishola and Kemi devise a strategy to prevent Ebun and the new pastor’s crush from growing; Bob is caught off guard when Goodwin leaves MaxDot for a better position at Christina’s firm.”
According to the description, there is another storyline coming in the episode with Ebunoluwa (Saidah Arrika Ekulona), who comes perilously close to Pastor Falade (Jonathan Adams), despite the fact that her husband is still in Nigeria.
