Kayte, along with her brother and sister Phil and Sophie, were raised in Hartlepool by their footballer father Alan, and their mother Susan Walsh, who was a homemaker. Phil followed in his father’s footsteps and played football for Dagenham & Redbridge and Barnet who competed in the British Football League.
