Season 3 of Bravo’s Family Karma debuts on November 6, 2022 at 9 p.m. ET / 8 p.m. CT. Rish Karam, 27, is one of the show’s newest cast members this season. He is Monica Vaswani’s boyfriend and comes from a business family. Family Karma focuses on the lives of seven second-generation Indian Americans living with their Indian ancestors in Miami, Florida.

Amrit Kapai, Anisha Ramakrishna, Bali Chainani, Brian Benni, Monica Vaswani and Vishal Parvani are among the returning cast members of the show. Rish Karam, the show’s newest recruit, will be a full-time cast member since dating Monica.

Rish, 27, is a restaurateur and businessman from a large traditional Indian family. According to his Bravo bio:
“Rish, like most twenty-somethings in his society, lives alone. He and his girlfriend Monica have been dating for quite some time. He is willing to give her the security she seeks, but only on his own time.”
He is the owner of Moksha Indian Brasserie, an Indian restaurant. It is, according to the restaurant’s Instagram profile, “Indian cuisine. Reinvented.” There are almost 3,000 followers on the page. Rish has just over 11,000 followers on his own page. He also claims in his profile that he is a Pandora Jewelry franchisee and currently resides in South Florida.
Rish’s uploads are generally single photos of himself, with the rest of his friends, or from his travels. The Family Karma star is no stranger to the cast. He would have known Monica, her ex-boyfriend Brian and the rest of the group since childhood. Anisha Ramakrishna called him a “dollar shop Drake” in a promotional video. Monica thought it was disrespectful, despite Rish’s laugh. Monica later in the series refers to her lover as “Chanel Drake” during her confession. In the teaser for the upcoming reality TV show, you can see Monica’s father taunting Rish and questioning him about when he plans to propose to her.
But as viewers will see, Monica is determined to take things carefully with Rish. Rish lives alone, so they don’t live together. The teaser of the reality TV show was initially shown on BravoCon, which aired earlier in October. Fans will also get an inside look at the marriage of Amrit and Nicholas Kouchoukos and the marriage of Vishal and Richa Sadana in the upcoming episode.
