Conventionally, salespeople are responsible for juggling tasks such as following a playbook, recording responses, building rapport, and updating a customer relationship management (CRM) system during sales calls. Because these are often repetitive and time-consuming, boredom can set in quickly. The average salesperson spends more than five hours a week updating CRM records, according to a Dooly questionnaire.
Looking for a solution, sales tech entrepreneur Eldad Postan-Koren and cybersecurity professional Bar Haleva co-created Winn.AIan AI-powered assistant designed to help sales teams automatically track, capture, and update CRM data. winn.AI monitors sales conversations and captures key data, theoretically reducing sales reps needing to take notes.
Winn.AI secretly launched today with $17 million in seed funding led by Insight Partners and S-Capital. Postan-Koren said the proceeds will support R&D while strengthening Winn.AI’s sales and marketing efforts.
Prior to Winn.AI, Postan-Koren was director of business development at OurCrowd, the venture investment platform. Haleva was a senior cybersecurity expert at XM Cyber, a startup that the Schwarz Group acquired last November for $700 million.
“winn.AI liberates salespeople from… red tape so they can focus on their customers – not their keyboards. The magic is in its unique ability to track, interpret and document sales conversations,” Postan-Koren told ukbusinessupdates.com in an email interview.
As a page enthusiast, Winn.AI participates in virtual sales meetings via Zoom, Google Meet, and Microsoft Teams. After setting up a playbook or tweaking one of several pre-made ones, Winn.AI tracks the conversation and lets sellers know which talking points they’ve discussed and which haven’t yet been discussed.
The platform detects questions about customer references and the competitive landscape and provides relevant information from the internet. And at the end of the meeting, Winn.AI exports all responses from prospects to the corresponding Salesforce or Hubspot entry.
Postan-Koren is not ignorant of competitors like Gong, Clari and Walnut. But he states that Winn.AI is one of the few vendors of its kind that provides real-time feedback.
“One of our core competencies is that we train our AI in real sales meetings. This greatly helps us make it more accurate compared to standard training resources,” Postan-Koren said. “In addition, the more a customer uses the product in their own sales meetings, our AI capabilities will improve to meet their exact needs. “
Winn.AI is in beta and thus has no paying customers. Postan-Koren would not disclose the company’s projected revenue, but said Winn.AI expects its workforce to double from 25 to 50 by 2023, implying rosy forecasts.
