Apple’s new entry-level iPad is on sale for $50 off for the first time

- Advertisment -

The new iPad is just over two weeks old, but it’s already getting a nice little discount that makes it feel much more affordable. Apple’s 10th-generation iPad retails for $399 at B&H Photo in the basic configuration of 64 GB with WiFi. While this new model will be available in four different colors, B&H’s $50 discount only applies to the blue one — at least until November 13 at 11:59 p.m. ET when this deal ends (if it doesn’t sell out first).

This new iPad model may not be the no-brainer buy that its base model ancestor was — as it starts at a much higher price point than the ninth-generation version, which still available for $299 – but it has some nice improvements. In addition to some fun colors, the 10th gen iPad has great battery life and a fast A14 Bionic processor with enough headroom for most users. It also made the move from the aging Lightning connector to USB-C, and it’s the first iPad to place the front-facing camera in the more optimal horizontal orientation. That all sounds nice, and it is, but it lost the 3.5mm headphone jack in the process. And if you want to draw on it, you’re limited to the first-generation Apple Pencil and a particularly cursed charging dongle.

But hey, $50 off already makes bits and pieces of these factors that much more forgivable. Read our review.

$399

Apple’s 10th generation iPad is the spiritual successor to the older 9th generation model. Although, in exchange for the revised design, landscape-focused webcam, USB-C port, larger 10.9-inch screen, and faster processor, the headphone jack was ditched and became more expensive.

If you want to buy digital games or downloadable content on PlayStation or Xbox, you should check out these discounts that Eneba is re-offering for gift cards for each store. Like the deals we saw last weekend, Eneba is selling a $100 Digital Gift Card to PlayStation Store for $81.69 (about $18 off) when you use code PSNUS and a $50 Digital Xbox Gift Card for $37.86 (about $12 off) with code XBOX50. Both promo codes are valid through Monday, November 14 at 7 a.m. ET. And again, since Eneba is based in the EU, the exchange rate to USD can shift slightly by as much as a dollar or so.

We don’t know if Eneba makes a habit of offering these digital gift card deals every weekend, but for now it still seems worth it for anyone already in the market to buy some digital games – or if you have a stash of stock. stocking up for a retrospective buy. Remember you can always get the code from Eneba and redeem it on your PlayStation or Xbox account for a rainy day or a future game release later. Bonus points go to anyone who saves money on a gift card and uses it to buy a game with a solid deal.

$81.69

A gift card to Sony’s PlayStation Store is good for a variety of titles, add-ons and downloadable content. They are normally sold in $10, $25, $50 and $100 denominations. Eneba sells a $100 digital gift card for $81.69 when you use a promo code PSNUS before 7AM ET on Nov. 14.

$37.86

A digital gift card can be purchased for a value ranging from $1 to $100. Currently, Eneba is selling a $50 digital gift card for $37.86 when you use a promo code XBOX50 before 7AM ET on Nov. 14.

Are you a PC gamer or the type who has their consoles on their desks? If so, check out this great deal on the massive 48-inch Gigabyte Aorus 4K OLED — it retails for $899.99 ($600 off) at Amazon and New egg. First of all, this monitor is a big boy. You should have enough desk space for all 48 inches of it. If you do, you’re getting excellent value for money for a high-quality OLED panel that supports 120Hz refresh rates, a fast 1ms response time, and AMD FreeSync compatibility to control screen tearing. It has two HDMI 2.1 ports in addition to a DisplayPort 1.4 connector, meaning it’s set up to easily use your PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X at once.

The Aorus may not be as fancy or get as bright as LG’s latest C2 OLED, but it offers a lot for anyone looking to go big for their battlestation setup. Moreover, in the past this deal usually required a mail-in discount, and now you get the big discount immediately at the time of purchase.

$899.99

Gigabyte’s foray into OLED panels is this 48-inch model that shares similar features to LG’s more expensive C1 and C2, namely the two HDMI 2.1 ports that enable fast gaming in 4K.

Speaking of the LG C2, the 42-inch version is currently on sale for $996.99 at Amazonor for $999.99 at Best Buy and Target. That discount of around $300 makes this an excellent value for anyone looking for a quality panel in a small space or, like the Aorus deal above, living that big monitor life. We had this similar price from BuyDig earlier this week, when it also came with a free $100 Visa gift card. And even though that promo has ended, this is still a great buy for everyone on the market.

The LG C2 may not be much different from the last generation C1, but it maintains a winning formula for gamers using the latest consoles or for movie fans who want a TV that can display deep, dark blacks clearly. It has HDMI 2.1 support for all four inputs and it supports a refresh rate of 120 Hz with VRR – which is ideal for games that look nice but have the occasional drop in framerate (such as Elden Ring). The C2 also runs LG’s WebOS interface for streaming Netflix, Disney Plus, Hulu and more directly, though the support for HDR and HDMI 2.1 means it’s great with any top-tier streaming device you choose.

$996.99

Available in a 42-inch configuration, the LG C2 is both lighter and brighter than its last-generation predecessor, the C1. It also features a “darkroom” setting to reduce eye strain, as well as the ability to log into various user profiles.

No, we’re not done yet. Here are some more offers

  • Apple’s Magic Keyboard for the 12.9-inch iPad Pro retails for $239.99 ($110 off) at Woot. This thing is a little heavy, but if you already have a jumbo-sized iPad, the extra weight might not bother you too much. If not, it’s one of the best keyboard and trackpad combos for the iPad Pro. Read our review.
  • Although not a deal in itself, Antonline sells God of War RagnarOk for PS5 with the limited edition DualSense Wireless Controller for $144.98. You’re not saving any money and thankfully you aren’t spending any extra money, but you do get that hard-to-find controller that’s quite coveted (by some). Read our review.
  • The Ultimate Ears Boom 3 costs $99.99 ($50 off) in black or blue at Amazon and Best Buy. This waterproof Bluetooth speaker may be a little dated now, but come on, it has a magic button. If you don’t mind a micro USB port, this speaker can deliver big sound for its size.
  • I can’t say I love Apple’s MagSafe Battery Pack, but if you want a true MagSafe-compatible power bank to charge your iPhone at 15W (and not just a magnetic Qi that charges half as fast), this is the only game in town. Satisfying, Best Buy sells the MagSafe battery pack for $71 ($28 off) through tomorrow, Nov. 13. It’s still a bit overpriced for its meager 1,460mAh capacity, but I promise not to judge if you appreciate the tight iOS integration other batteries which are dumber but better appreciated.
