In the film, she plays the role of a fangirl of the Jigsaw Killer and has created numerous replicas of the traps Jigsaw made during his lifetime. A new episode of the movie called “Spiral” is scheduled to appear 2021though she’s not part of this new installment, which will star Samuel L. Jackson and Chris Rock.

A year after her work in “Jigsaw”, Anderson was cast in the television series adaptation of “The Purge”, an anthology series based on the film franchise of the same name. She was part of the cast of the first season along with Gabriel Chavarria, Lili Simmons and Amanda Warren. The show ties in with the movies and has the same promise; in a totalitarian government within a dystopian US, the government sets a 12-hour period in a year during which all crimes are legalized. The first season takes place somewhere between “Anarchy” and “Election Year”, but that’s about it cancelled after two seasons.
In 2019, she was cast as Elaine Gray in “X-Men: Dark Phoenix”. The movie is based on the Marvel Comics characters, the X-Men, and is a sequel to “X-Men: Apocalypse”, which was released in 2016. It is the 12th film of the franchise overall and this film tells the story of the X-Men facing the full power of the Phoenix after a mission goes awry. The film had numerous problems during production, as it had to undergo numerous reshoots after poor screen testing. It eventually became what was considered the biggest bomb of 2019, received numerous negative reviews and grossed below budget due to its costly reshoots.
This was the last film of the X-Men before its rights were taken back by Disney, leading to future iterations of the film being part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Hannah Emily is single and there are no reports of past or current romantic relationships.
