The report also says there were 36,974,015 registered Apple developers and it terminated 428,487 developer accounts. And the “average weekly number of customer accounts searching the App Store” was 373,211,396, meaning a lot of people visit the store weekly.
I really recommend the report yourself. It’s only two pages long, so it’s easy to digest. In 2021, Apple promised this report would be released annually, so I’m curious to see how things change once we get to look at the 2023 report next year.
These aren’t the only App Store details Apple shared this week. Company also revealed that it blocked $2.09 billion in fraudulent transactions on the platform last year. And there’s always the possibility that Apple will share more data soon at the Worldwide Developers Conference, which kicks off on June 5.
