It resembles the Real Black Friday deals have officially landed as Woot’s current deal on the new AirPods Pro is the best we’ve seen yet on the excellent true wireless earbuds. The retailer is currently selling Apple’s second-generation AirPods Pro for net $197.99 instead of $249, which is the biggest discount the buds have received since launching in September. You do have to act quickly. Woot’s current supply ends at 1am ET on Sunday, November 20, but we expect these buds to sell out well before then.
For the unfamiliar, the latest pair of AirPods Pro offer noticeably better noise cancellation and improved sound quality over their last-generation predecessor. They also allow you to adjust their volume simply by swiping the stem – despite wearing the same old design – and Apple has added an extra ear tip for smaller ears.
Elsewhere, Apple has updated the included MagSafe charging case with a built-in speaker and lanyard loop. It even comes with improved location tracking through Apple’s Find My network, meaning it’s easier to find if you ever lose it. They’re not dramatically different from the first-generation model, of course, but if you’re already invested in Apple’s ecosystem and would like to take advantage of features only available to Apple, such as spatial audio and automatic device switching, you can do nothing about it. better than Apple’s latest set of AirPods.
