Career start
Before becoming an actor, Steve Martin spent some time at Disneyland as a sales guide salesman. His first movie appearance came, incidentally, when he was caught in the background of the movie “Disneyland Dream”. He quickly became interested in illusions and tricks and eventually began performing at The Magic Shop in Fantasyland in 1960.
