They were caught and banned, but made a deal with CCC to get more time on the computer in exchange for bugging the program.
After graduating from high school, Bill enrolled at Harvard College, but dropped out after two years and never received his degree, though he has received numerous honorary degrees after becoming the most prominent figure in software. After leaving Harvard, he again joined forces with Paul Allen, this time to found Microsoft, which became the world’s largest software company, with Bill as CEO until 2000.
He has remained the chairman but has focused on other matters as he is now chairman of several companies including Branded Entertainment Network, TerraPower, Cascade Investment and others.
