Draxler made his Bundesliga debut against Hamburger SV on January 15, 2011. At the time, he was the fourth youngest ever Bundesliga player and the youngest in Schalke history. A week later, in Schalke’s 1-0 win over Hanover 96, he became the second-youngest outfield player in the Bundesliga after Nuri ahin.
