Michael John Clarke, a former Australian cricketer and former Australia captain who played in all formats of the game, was born on April 2, 1981. When his side defeated New Zealand in the 2015 ICC Cricket World Cup final at the CWM, he led Australia to his sixth victory in the tournament. Clarke was first selected for Australia in Twenty20 Internationals and captained Australia’s Twenty20 cricket side in January 2011. After retiring from international competition, Shane Warne handed him his 23-year-old ODI squad number. He goes by the nickname “Pup” and is a casual left-arm orthodox bow-ring player, as well as a center-right-handed percussionist. At the federal level, he represented New South Wales.
