Missy Franklin Biography
Missy Franklin was born on May 10, 1995 in Pasadena, California, but her family later moved to Centennial, Colorado. When she was five years old, she started taking swimming lessons to feel more comfortable in the water. Taurus is her astrological sign. She is 27 years old and has dual citizenship in the United States and Canada.
When she was seven years old, she joined the Colorado Stars travel swim team and discovered her passion for swimming. She competed in the 2008 U.S. Olympic Team Trials at age 13 but failed to make the team.
