Imane “Pokimane” Anys is taking an indefinite sabbatical from the internet. The streamer announced her retirement from the internet on Twitter, explaining why on July 19, 2022. “I felt like I needed a mental reset and some time to focus on myself and my life away from the internet.” Good breaks in my opinion are critical to one’s health and longevity of work,” she said on Twitter.
She said she was grateful for the support from her fans over the years and thanked them for putting her in a position to take time off in this way. But this isn’t the end of her online journey; she said she plans to return rejuvenated and ready to create more material.
She hasn’t made it clear what she would be doing as part of her hiatus, though fans may no longer be able to watch her regular Twitch sessions. Pokimane is Twitch’s most popular female streamer and most watched content provider. She has not yet announced a timetable for her comeback.

“Working at 100% for a week is more important than working at 30% for a month,” said NRG streamer Ethoz Copenhagen. Give yourself as much time as you need to rejuvenate. “We’ll all wait here patiently,”
“Yesssss, we love a refreshed, happily contented woman who is on a gr8 vacation soon,” noted Nicole Sanchez, aka Neekolul. “AMEN, IMAN! Let me know if you would like any suggestions for travel, booking or experiences. “I have become the queen of taking time off and know of countless fun activities that can nourish your soul,” Kittyplays said.
While the majority of viewers were sympathetic, others chided the streamer for taking a vacation. These individuals stated that Pokimane went on vacation because her streams were struggling, giving the impression that her life was miserable.
