Early life and cameo appearances
While Alex was born in Paris, the family later moved to England where he and Emma grew up. He lived largely away from the spotlight, and his proficiency with the French language began to decline as he became more accustomed to life in the UK. His life started to change when Emma wanted to pursue an acting career. Although he didn’t have the same interests, he supported her efforts as she started training and appeared in a few stage productions.
Emma’s fame increased significantly after she was cast in the “Harry Potter” film series as one of the main characters, Hermione Granger. While the producers initially didn’t think the film would become the global phenomenon it is today, many of the cast members would grow close as family.
More cameos and modeling
The crew also involved other family members, such as Alex, who would appear as a student in a cameo in the first film “Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone”. Based on JK Rowling’s novel of the same name, the film follows the story of the titular Harry Potter as he embarks on magical adventures with his best friends.

In the film, he discovers that the Chamber of Secrets in the school has been opened, releasing a monster. The film, like its predecessor, was huge good luckbecoming the second highest-grossing film of the year, behind only “The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers”.
For the next two “Harry Potter” movies, Alex was busy with other projects, so he didn’t show up. He later returned to make a brief cameo in “Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix” – in that episode, Harry Potter and his best friends go through their fifth year at Hogwarts and deal with the aftermath of the return of the dreaded wizard Lord Voldemort.
Burberry campaign
In 2010, the media reported that Alex would team up with his sister in a campaign for the fashion brand Burberry. He initially had no plans to model for the brand, but while looking for something to wear for a ‘Harry Potter’ premiere, he was approached by the staff who quickly signed him up for a modeling job .
Emma was there to help him as she has more experience in modeling projects. He notes that there is a lot of tension during modeling auditions as everyone is on edge to get a job. It appeared that he did not continue modeling after that gig as he showed no interest in being overly concerned about his physical appearance.
Private life
After Alex’s appearance at Burberry, there has been no news about him. He has been more private about his career and personal endeavours, so nothing is known in terms of romances. There are social media pages under his name, although they appear to be fan accounts and have nothing to do with him.
His sister is known as a Universalist, although it is unknown if he shares the same beliefs.
