Travis’ mother, Kira Sedgwick, starred in many TV series including “The Closer” in which she played Chief Brenda Leigh Johnson, a character for which she won both Golden Globe and Emmy Awards. She also won a Golden Globe nomination way back in 1995 for her performance in “Something to Talk About”.

This first happened in 2005 when he was 16 when he landed the role of Lenny in “Loverboy”, the hit 2005 movie directed by his father, Kevin. However, acting was not his thing, so he turned to music and made a name for himself in that field. However, his sister Sosie also starred in “Loverboy”, and her acting career skyrocketed after this performance.
