Early life and family
Bruna Marquezine was born Bruna Reis Maina on August 4, 1995 in Duque de Caxias, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, to parents Neida Maia and Telmo Maia. She is close to her parents and grew up with her younger sister, but has a special bond with her father. Her screen name of Marquezine came from her grandmother’s name as a tribute to her Nana.
