Spain has brought us some of the biggest names in the acting industry – one of these names is undoubtedly Blanca Martinez Suárez. This girl made Spanish headlines when she was very young, and has recently started her breakthrough on American television. How much do you know about Blanca Suarez? Early life and education
Blanca Martinez Suárez was born on October 21, 1988 in Madrid, Spain, of Spanish nationality and her zodiac sign is Libra.

Not much is known about her early life and parents except that she is the middle of seven children! After graduating from a local high school, she enrolled at King Juan Carlos University, located in the southern part of Madrid. She also attended the School of Dramatic Arts of Artes Escenicas Troton.
Career
Suárez made her acting debut in 2007, when she was cast as Julia Medina in the Antena 3-channel TV series “The Boarding School”, also known as “El Internado” in Spanish.
She stayed on the show until it ended three seasons later, in 2010, and for this performance, she won the Fotogramas de Plata Award for Best Actress and earned a Golden Nymph in the Best Actress in Drama category nomination at the Monte-Carlo Television . Holiday 2010.
In 2009, she was cast in two Spanish movies, the drama movie “Cowards” and the horror movie “Shiver”. She played minor roles in both films, but her performances were noticed by the public and several casting agencies.
In the same year, she had her first voice acting job, voicing Angel in the Fernando Gonzales Molina movie “Brain Drain”. In the next two years, before filming for “The Boarding School” was finished, she also starred in “The Consul of Sodom”, “Neon Flesh” – in which she appeared alongside Mario Casas – and “The Hemisphere”.
In 2011, she starred in “The Skin I Live In”, playing Norma Ledgard. Her castmates were Elena Anaya and Antonio Banderas, and she was nominated for a Goya Award in the Best New Actress category for this film.
More importantly, she became a co-star of another Antena 3 series, “The Boat”, and her portrayal of Ainhoa Montero brought her worldwide fame, as well as a TP de Oro Award for Best Actress nomination, and won the Ondas Award. in the Best Actress category, as well as the Fotogramas de Plata Award in the Best Television Actress category. She stayed on the show until 2013, simultaneously appearing in the drama film “Winning Streak”, and co-starring in the post-war film “Orange Honey”, directed by Imanol Uribe.
Her first role after the end of “The Boat” was as Ruth in the comedy movie “I’m So Excited” which premiered in 2013.

In 2014, she made a small appearance in the TV series “Tell Me a Story”, and had the lead role in the TV miniseries “Beauty and the Beast”. The following year, Suárez co-starred in the comedy “Off Course”, and appeared in three episodes of the TV series “The Ours”, portraying Isabel Santana. She again joined her “Neon Flesh” colleague Mario Casas in the comedy film “My Big Night”, and landed a recurring role in the TV history series “Charles, King Emperor”.
In 2016, Suárez played the Italian lady Daniella in the romantic movie “Bakery in Brooklyn”, her first American movie, and that same year she starred in the TV miniseries about forbidden love, “Lo Que Escondian Sus Ojos”.
Suárez, again joined by Mario Casas, starred in the 2017 horror-comedy film “The Bar”; for her portrayal of Elena, she was nominated for Best Supporting Actress at the third Premios Feroz award ceremony. She also got the lead role in the TV drama series “Cable Girls”, and as of May 2020, she still plays Lidia Aguilar in this show. In 2018, she appeared in the short film “Asesinato en el Hormiguero Express”, and in Jose Luis Cuerda’s last film, “Time After”. A year later, she starred in the comedy film “Despite Everything” alongside Macarena Garcia and Amaia Salamanca.
Other professional endeavors
Suárez has appeared in several music videos, most notably in Ladrones’ “Estoy Prohibido” in 2010, and with her then-boyfriend Dani Martin’s “Emocional” in 2014.
Besides being an actress, Suárez is also a journalistsince February 2014 working for Spanish Vogue.
Suárez has also modeled for several famous magazines, as well as for the prestigious Italian lingerie brand Intimissimi.
Private life
Suarez had several public relationsthe first was with fellow actor Javier Pereira.
The relationship started in 2008 and ended in 2010. In 2011, she started the relationship with Miguel Angel Silvestre, who was her co-star in “Winning Streak”, but the couple broke up in 2014. That same year, she announced the relationship with the Spanish pop musician Dani Martin, but they ended the relationship later in 2014. She was in a relationship with actor Joel Bosqued from 2015 to 2017. In early 2018, she started the relationship with her colleague in several films, Mario Casas, but this relationship also did not last for too long, and at the end of 2019 they broke up.
It was rumored that she had married an unknown husband in late 2019, but she never responded to the gossip.
In 2011 and 2014, she was the most searched artist on the Interned according to Fotogramas magazine. The Spanish magazine GQ named her Woman of the Year in 2014.
Suárez is active on various social media such as Twitter, Facebook and Instagram, where she often posts pictures of herself and her dachshund named Pistacho.
On September 28, 2019, her alleged death was rumored, which worried many.
However, that same day, she confirmed that she is alive and well and that the gossip is not true.
