On Tuesday, September 27, 2022, NBC’s The Voice Season 22 premiered with a brand new episode. Coaches John Legend, Camila Cabello, Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton have many excellent candidates for their respective teams halfway through the blind auditions. This week they continued to compete against each other to get the more skilled vocalists to join them.
Tanner Howe was one of the singers who impressed the coaches. The Voice candidate approached the stage and sang a cover of Shawn Mendez’s Mercy. The 29-year-old wanted to be on Side Camila, but when she didn’t turn her seat, he chose Gwen Stefani’s team over John and Blake, who both turned for him. After just a few notes, the instructors noticed that he looked a lot like Shawn Mendez. Camila confessed that she didn’t vote for The Voice candidate because he looked too much like the original artist. She went on to say that he had to stand out. Meanwhile, Gwen, John and Blake struggled, trying to persuade Tanner to join their team. Finally, he decided to join Team Gwen. Keep reading to learn more about Tanner.
