Mary Bruce is a married woman. Her husband’s name is Duane Moore, an investment banker by trade. The couple met in early 2010, and after about two years of dating, they got engaged and finally walked down the aisle in a ceremony on September 12, 2015. They are the parents of a son named Elvis Moore, born June 24. 2018. The family currently lives in Washington, DC
Car accident
In 2010, Mary Bruce was injured in a car accidentalongside ABC News correspondent Abbie Boudreau.
It happened while on their way to Virginia in a sedan that was hit from behind by a semi truck driver. Both were hospitalized, but Mary suffered only minor injuries, such as minor bruises and scrapes, and was released home after a few hours. On the other hand, Abbie had to stay in the hospital overnight for observation as she was believed to have suffered a head trauma. It later turned out that the truck driver was under the influence of drugs. Six months later, Mary and Abbie received an undisclosed amount of money in a settlement.
