Early schooling
Diane was admitted to an Augustinian Catholic University, Villanova, located in Pennsylvania, USA, where she received her degree in classical studies. She went on to study law at the University of Southern California, and after graduation, she wasted no time in joining a law firm and growing her legal career as an attorney.
Career
Pennthe welcomed her on board as a lawyer, but Addonizio’s career as a lawyer was short-lived, as she left the firm to enjoy her relationship with Howie Long. Diane lived a luxurious life, but Howie wouldn’t be the only successful one in the relationship.
Diane set out to make her own fortune and that’s exactly what she did. After the couple got married, she pursued new avenues in the business world. She made some good investments that promised good returns and helped to reiterate her title as a “businesswoman”. However, she didn’t stop there. Diane was thrust into the spotlight for her highly publicized relationship with NFL star Howie Long, which remains by far the most publicized part of Diane’s life.
Howie began courting Diane shortly after they met while they were both attending Villanova University. It is said that before their first date, Howie invited her back to his dorm room to watch an NFL game, but no one will ever know if this is the truth, speculation, or a publicity stunt. Nevertheless, it makes for a very sweet story.
In an early interview, Diane gushed about Howie saying, “Attractive, the boy was attractive. I had never met anyone so tall and so good looking.’
Diana was only 22 when Howie presented her with an engagement ring shortly after graduation. They got married in June 1982 and unlike many Hollywood couples, they have been together ever since.
The couple welcomed son Christopher in 1985, the first of their three children. Kyle Howard Long was born three years later, followed in 1990 by Howard Long Jr.
All three boys followed in their father’s footsteps and pursued careers in the NFL. Christopher and Kyle are both professional football players, Christopher plays defense for the Philadelphia Eagles and Kyle plays offensive lineman for the Chicago Bears. Howie Jr. is not on the field, but works behind the scenes for the Oakland Raiders as a scout and the team’s personal assistant.

Howie’s life
Howard Matthew Moses Long started playing football at Milford High School when he was just 15 years old. An all-around athlete, young Howie also played basketball, track running, and competed in the shot put, javelin throw, and discus throw, setting several state records along the way.
After graduating from Villanova and playing four seasons for the football team, Long played 13 seasons with the Oakland/Los Angeles Rangers in the NFL, including winning the Super Bowl in 1983 and playing defensive end in the NFL in 1985. retired in 1993.
Long wasn’t content with just conquering the sports world, so he took on Hollywood by pursuing a career in acting. Playing together in ‘Firestorm and ‘Broken Arrow’ alongside John Travolta was a great start to his new journey. Other famous faces he worked with included Kurt Russel, Courteney Cox, and Kevin Costner. There were many rumors linking Long to actress Teri Hatcher, which were adamantly denied by Howie and Diane. Today, Howie works for Fox Sports as an analyst, reporting primarily on the NFL.

Diana made no attempt to hide her distaste for social media, and you won’t find her on any social media account — so much of Diane’s private life has been kept private for just that. There is very little, almost no information about past relationships. It can be assumed that because she married Howie at such a young age, all relationships probably weren’t very serious or significant for him.
