Mobile World Congress returns to Barcelona, filling the halls of the Fira de Barcelona convention center between February 27 and March 2.
When it comes to consumer tech, that means MWC is a show full of smartphone launches. Names like HMD’s Honor, OnePlus, Huawei and Nokia are expected to make big announcements at the show, though key players like Samsung and Sony don’t seem to be preparing any big announcements ahead of the event. And you can forget about Apple.
Like many exchanges, MWC has been a quieter affair in recent years and was completely canceled in 2020 due to the covid-19 pandemic. This year seems to be a bit busier.
