CES rumbles on and Apple secretly introduces a new audiobook feature.
CES is a big show, but it still amazes me to see the sheer variety of different announcements that come out of it. As an example, Sony and Honda showed a prototype electric car at Sony’s CES presentation. They weren’t the only companies to showcase a concept car at the show thanks to this BMW E Ink-infused vehicle.
But enough about cars, what about chips? Fortunately, AMD has you covered, with a huge new lineup of processors for both laptops and desktops. It’s wild to remember that just a few years ago, 16-core CPUs were the domain of AMD’s expensive Threadripper lineup, and soon they’ll be available in laptops. Awesome.
Amid all this CES gadget news, Apple has quietly launched a new AI audiobook narrator that it hopes will allow smaller publishers and authors to enter the audiobook market at a much lower cost.
And now, here’s a silly tweet to start your day:
Give it to me honestly, doc. How old am I
