About 50 of the 500 drones used in the “City of Light” Christmas show in Perth, Australia, malfunctioned and crashed into the river below.
According to Australian news centre WAtoday, each drone costs about $1,300. “I try not to think about it, but it was an expensive show for us,” said Joshua Van Ross, the show’s director. WAtoday.
